Getting Started: Modifying Presets
Sound fonts and bladestyles are the key things to change when personalizing your saber.
If you change your blade and need to figure out how long it is, check out the LengthFinder BladeStyle.
Required Items
To perform this step of the process, you’ll want to have a sound font downloaded and bladestyle(s) prepared. Some sound fonts come with a bladestyle, but many do not.
Here’s a list of places to get some cool sound fonts:
This list is in no particular order, isn’t exhaustive, and I’m not affiliated with any of them. Each individual listed has lots of high quality soundfonts. Some of them (greyscale’s in particular are very popular) are even free, but definitely check out some paid ones too, they’re worth it.
Bladestyles
Bladestyles are their entirely own topic, and can be quite complicated, but for fonts that do come with them, all you need to do is copy and paste.
If your soundfont does not come with a bladestyle, the Fett263 Style Library might be a useful resource.
For more advanced editing or customization, you may want to dive headfirst into The ProffieOS BladeStyle Editor. This is also linked in ProffieConfig.
